\"\"MA doet er alles aan om opleidingen af te stemmen op de eisen van de arbeidsmarkt. Zodat studenten goed voorbereid met hun stage kunnen beginnen en daarna een vliegende start kunnen maken in hun eerste baan. De jaarlijkse portfoliopitches zijn hier een mooi voorbeeld van.<\/p>\n

Hierbij beoordelen circa 60 mensen uit de industrie de portfolio\u2019s van zo\u2019n 60 derdejaars studenten Software developer en Game artist. Doel: de studenten inzicht geven in de vaardigheden die werkgevers belangrijk vinden, met het oog op de aankomende stageperiode. En daarnaast natuurlijk over en weer kennismaken en de eerste contacten leggen voor een succesvolle stage.<\/p>\n

Enthousiast
\n<\/strong>Monique Maquine, van het Serious Games Center van de Koninklijke Landmacht is enthousiast over de portfoliodag: \u201cDe Landmacht heeft stageplekken voor zowel developers als artists. We letten heel goed op hun leerdoelen en geven ze daar alle tijd en ruimte voor. Ook krijgen ze een uniek kijkje binnen het leger, hoe denkt een militair?\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"Voorbereiding op de industrie
\n<\/strong>Voor de opleidingen is de jaarlijkse portfoliodag heel belangrijk: \u201cAls school willen we contact houden met de industrie. Voor studenten is het belangrijk om hun werk te laten zien en feedback te krijgen, en te kijken of ze klaar zijn om te starten met hun stage. We begeleiden alle studenten naar een stage en hebben z\u00f3veel contacten bij bedrijven dat alle studenten een kwalitatief goede plek vinden. Dit is in heel Nederland en soms ook in het buitenland. Bij de stagebedrijven werken veel alumni, die het leuk vinden om op deze manier aangesloten te blijven bij MA.”<\/p>\n

Stage
\n<\/strong>Na deze portfoliodag hebben studenten de tijd om hun portfolio aan te passen op basis van de gekregen feedback. Hierbij worden zij begeleid door docenten. Als dit is voldaan, begint de student met solliciteren. Is er een klik tussen student en bedrijf, dan staat niets een succesvolle stage in de weg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
